Robinswood Off-Leash Area was an okay dog park. I wish it were closer to the medium-large dog park. Beware, do not bring small dogs to large dog enclosures towards the entrance. I brought Bear & Teddy to the enclosure to socialize my dogs; people have small dogs inside (chihuahua, small mixed breeds). I assume people did not want to walk to the smaller dog & medium dog enclosures, so I wanted to join in. A Larger dog trampled my seven-month-old Pomeranian, and the owner did not apologize or even acknowledge his dog's behavior. I realize that small dogs in a large dog enclosure can cause conflict, but I figured it was okay since I had seen others have small breeds inside.
If you are that dog owner, please be mindful of your dog's behavior. Your dog should be socialized & know how to interact with all breeds, regardless of size, properly.
People should acknowledge poor pet behavior & correct the dog appropriately.
I wish more people would have brought their smaller dogs up to the proper enclosure. I was fortunate to talk to some excellent dog owners, one with which we had our puppies play together.
Robinswood Off-Leash Area should be respected by all dog owners as a safe space to bring our pets and to enforce safety as a number one priority. My dogs have been properly socialized, so I expect the same from others to act with morale and good intentions towards the public population.
My dogs love it here! Huge area with the middle being sand and the outside being wood chips. People tend to do well at cleaning up after their dogs so haven’t had a problem with that since we started going. There’s always tons of tennis balls there to play with and they do have poop bags. Seems well kept up with! Just saw an employee painting the benches and table the other day. There’s also parking available and really short distance from the park itself.
Great local well maintained dig park. Easy to manage dog and large run area for dogs. Park is in wooded park setting. (Two dog areas onsite.) One up front near 148th and one by the tennis courts for small or timid dogs. Dog area is sand so not muddy when wet. Perimeter is chipped bark. Paved walkway around inside dog area so owners can walk while dogs play!
Great place only thing some owners(pet) can NOT control their aggressive dogs 😤! They know it! Especially their Pitbulls, Bully, Boxers and Korso, they can NOT ctrl their aggressive behavior. Hate that! Other than that the park is beautiful. Next to Microsoft, nice cool park for the children. Great Soccer, Basketball 🏀 and Volleyball 🏐, sports is awesome. Have a duck pond, and awesome trail.
The park has very clean and fenced off leash dog area. There is a shy dog area which is usually very less crowded and there is a gate in between that can be closed to have even smaller partition. I had a shy puppy and I was not sure how my puppy will behave if left in an unfenced area. Very good place to bond with your puppy.
One of my favorite off leash dog park in Seattle. Child Playgrounds , basketball soccer field in the park~ Lovely
I really appreciate the friendly folks but the fact there are few people who don't pay attention to their dogs and pick up after them has been troublesome. Stepped on quite a few land mines..not fun. Digging it out of the dog's paws is worse. Aside from that the dogs are typically well behaved. Bellevue could invest in laying down fresh mulch or sand.
Yeah it's really hard when you worry about the sanitary and the chips getting the dog's eyes and I don't know the city could do a lot more for the community saw a pair level minimum seen fights here and all kinds of stuff usually have a good time but humans are ruined a lot lately
